My Independent Midwife offer a unique, personal service for midwifery. Our talented team can provide antenatal, birthing and postnatal care, in the northwest, to keep your choices at the centre of your care. As you give birth, your independent midwife will be at your side, every step of the way. Our packages are designed to empower and support you, while making you feel at ease with the process. Our entire service is based around you. This is your birth and your choices are the ones that matter. We know that continuity support is really important, so we'll get to know you personally, as we make this journey together.

Labour promotion from 39 weeks gestation.
A service in your own home to encourage relaxation, oxytocin and promote hormonal conditions to encourage labour.
This utilises back massage, aromatherapy oils and acupressure, all designed to promote labour. Aromatherapy oils will be provided to keep and continue use.

Assessment and surgical release of baby tongue tie to assist in feeding issues.
Price: £80 at home
From 12 weeks pregnant
Individualised assessment and combination of oils. To encourage relaxation and endorphin release. Oil blends will be provided to continue treatment at your own leisure.

Ideally from 32 weeks pregnant
2 sessions of 2 hrs with your birthing partner of choice lead by an experienced Midwife practitioner
Including book and audio to practise at home

£200 1-2-1 infant feeding support (initial meeting, assessment and plan)
£50 for ongoing support visits
£150 Antenatal education
Infant feeding preparation, assessment and support from an IBCLC registered lactation consultant Midwife.
1-2-1 appointments will last 1-3 hours depending on individual needs. This service is for anyone wishing to learn more about breastfeeding prior to birth or for those having difficulties with breastfeeding or bottle-feeding their baby.
