An elective Caesarean birth may be recommended due to pregnancy complications or you may prefer to choose a elective caesarean birth. Whatever the reason, going into hospital can be a daunting experience. We will stay with you throughout the birth, ensuring that everything is fully explained to you, advocating your wishes and supporting you throughout the process. We want to help you stay in control and ensure that you always feel safe and comfortable with your care.
Empowering Birth
What makes this service so special is that you will get to know your midwife and she will know you. When the time of your birth arrives you will feel safe and confident that your midwife knows exactly what you want, how you want it and you know that is how it will be! You will have open access to your own personal midwife via the phone or text whenever you need her, for complete reassurance and peace of mind, throughout your pregnancy and once the baby has arrived.

Your independent midwife will conduct each session in a relaxed, unhurried, informal style that allows you to engage on your own terms. All birthing partners, or whoever you wish, can also be present for these appointments, as you are the lead decision-maker in your care.
