My Independent Midwife offer a unique, personal service for you and your family. Our talented team can provide antenatal, birthing and postnatal care, always keeping your choices at the centre of your care.

As you give birth, your independent midwife will be at your side, every step of the way. Our packages are designed to empower and support you, while making you feel at ease with the process.

Our entire service is based around you. This is your birth and your choices are the ones that matter. We know that continuity support is really important, so we’ll get to know you personally, as we make this journey together.

Home Birth

Home birth offers a calm, safe environment where you have full control. You choose who’s with you, when, and what happens, while we provide support and ensure you and your baby stay safe throughout the process.

Hospital Birth

If you choose or need a hospital birth, we’ll begin care at home and accompany you when you’re ready. We’ll stay by your side, explain everything clearly, advocate for your wishes, and support you throughout.

Elective c-Section

If you’re planning an elective Caesarean, we’ll be with you every step—offering clear guidance, advocating your wishes, and ensuring you feel safe, supported, and in control throughout your birth experience.

Collaborative Maternity Care

We recommend all packages are dual booked with your local maternity service, to access screening bloods, maternal wellbeing bloods and ultrasound scanning. We will be happy to arrange this on your behalf.

This facilitates a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team approach which is best clinical practice.

However, private blood tests and ultrasound testing can be arranged if you with to opt out of hospital-based care at additional costs.

All appointments for antenatal and postnatal care will be held in your home, at a time of convenience for yourself, and last approximately 1-3 hours, depending on your needs.
